Executive Chef, Rich Byers

Executive Chef Rich Byers leads The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar’s global street food preparation, vision and delivery. Byers was selected for the role of Executive Chef after serving as the Sous Chef for the restaurant for more than a year. His passion for unique flavors and creativity in the kitchen are evident throughout his career.

His culinary experience comes from all over: Olives Restaurant at the St. Regis Aspen (CO), Oskar Blues in Lyons (CO), Executive Sous Chef at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder, and most notably a Chef in the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

In his role as Executive Chef for The Corner Office, Byers will manage the day-to-day preparation and delivery of the globally inspired breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hour and brunch menus. Along with developing the daily menus, Byers will master the cuisine for large events taking place at The Corner Office’s renowned private party and event space. He looks forward to creating a cohesive culinary team that has an edge in global cuisine.

A native of Long Island, NY, Byers studied at The Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park, NY. When he’s not cooking award-winning fare, Byers enjoys Colorado’s Rocky Mountains by skiing, mountain biking and camping.

 


General Manager, Jérôme Fosset

Jérôme Fosset is the general manager of food and beverage for The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar in downtown Denver. A unique concept from Denver-based Sage Restaurant Group, The Corner Office is a sophisticated and hip destination specializing in global cuisine and specialty martinis.

Jérôme joined The Corner Office in May 2012, arriving from Portland, Ore. where he was the director of banquet operations for The Nines Hotel, a Sage property, part of the Starwood luxury collection portfolio. At The Nines, Jérôme successful increased revenue and improved operations, efficiency and quality of service. Prior to his work at The Nines, Jérôme was the director of events of the Sofitel Hotel in Los Angeles and he has management experience at the Sofitels in Washington, D.C. and New York City.

Jérôme’s leadership at The Corner Office will enhance the restaurant’s high-quality menu, consisting of a variety of options taking inspiration from worldwide flavors such as Asian, Mexican, Italian, Brazilian and American cuisines. In addition, Jérôme will help shape the direction and heightened visibility of The Corner Office as it embarks on its sixth year on the revitalized 14th street corridor by Denver’s thriving theater district.

Jérôme is a native of France and has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Bourges in France. He lives in Denver with his wife Theya and daughter Lucie Rose.
