With November comes one of the greatest holidays of the year, Thanksgiving. Though, we do think that all the holidays are pretty great, thanksgiving is one of our favorites because we have an excuse (not that we really need one) to cook, eat, drink and be with our family and friends. This year, TCO is celebrating Thanksgiving with a Classic Thanksgiving Dinner. For $40 per person you will indulge in all of Thanksgiving Day’s staples; turkey, glazed yams, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie… Can you even contain your excitement?? Below is the full menu that we will be serving and you can call the restaurant directly to make reservations at 303.825.6500. Reservations are recommended.
One of our favorite parts about Thanksgiving is, Thanksgiving traditions. We wanted to ask our team what their favorite traditions are for Turkey Day and we received some great feedback. General Manager Eric Liebtag enjoys sharing his kitchen on Thanksgiving Day with his family and friends. He has always been the family member to spend night and day in the kitchen preparing food for his guests. Most recently he has friends and family each make a special dish. This gave him the chance to spend time with those important to him while sharing recipes, eating different ethnic foods and drinking special cocktails and great wine. While in Chicago in his two bedroom apartment Eric had his guests making pull apart rolls, quiche, yucca smoked fish spread, stuffed Cornish hens, lamb meatballs and cranberry sorbet and was ecstatic to see how everyone thinks and eats differently on Thanksgiving. For him and being in the Food and Beverage world, there is nothing better than to eat and drink with friends and family on or around the holidays, even it is not on the calendar day itself.
Executive Chef Rich Byers enjoys watching the football games with his friends and family. He isn’t necessarily a fan of the teams that play the Thanksgiving Day games but it’s more about the experience of watching the game itself. If you have read our blog before, you know that Chef’s favorite beverage is any Brown Ale. He enjoys having his favorite beverage along with the game.
On November 1st and throughout the month like us on Facebook and watch for our call-outs to share your favorite Thanksgiving Day Tradition!
